The current spelling of "LeCoultre" is not quite correct, actually it is "Le Coultre". But due to the logo of the manufactory LeCoultre and later Jaeger-LeCoultre, this lettering became more and more solid, so that today it is used almost exclusively as the name.
Solid, magnificent calendar watch displaying name of day, month and date, as well as the moon phase.
Watch in 18 kt (0.750) gold casing. Solid casing in beautiful design. Both lids are gold.
Fine enamel dial with Roman numerals. Outer minute markers. Very fine filigree original hands made of steel, gold-coloured. Four auxiliary dials. Date on the left, name of the day on the right, name of the month on the top and small second hand at six o'clock - inside that the phase of the moon. In beautiful condition. A small repair on the rim up top above the 11,
The back lid has a magnificent attached monogram.
Bridge nickel work in best quality - Anchor escapement - production in Switzerland circa 1870. Signed LeCoultre 2740 - functioning movement -

Very fine form. This timepiece is in very beautiful overall condition with only minor signs of wear.
