Beautiful framed with glass, in an equally old frame from the first half of the last century.
The work of mixed techniques on paper, shows a colourful work of the old ‘Vispoort’ of the well-known Dutch Zuiderzee town of Harderwijk.

Garjeanne -Johannes Josephus
Born in Delft 30 November 1860.
Passed away in Hilversum 28 August 1930.
Lived and worked in Delft, the Hague, Westland, Venlo and from 1925 in Hilversum.
He attended the academy of fine arts in the Hague and the T.H. School in Delft.
Art teacher at the R.H.B.S. in Venlo.
Painted, watercoloured and drew landscapes, seascapes, river views and cityscapes.
He was a member of 'Arti et Amicitiae' in Amsterdam.
Exhibitions Amsterdam 1892, 1899,1903.
Rotterdam 1891 and Maasstricht 1890 and 1896.
