Antique French, complete 78 cards, tarot cards with box,circa 1898-1900. Each card is a work of art,made by the famous baptiste Paul Grimaud,1817-1899,Paris. There are 4 suits; hearts,clubs,diamonds and spades,each suit has 14 cards,4 picture cards wich was normal for tarot cards. There is another set of 21 cards,each numbered and with 2 pictures on each,which was called the Trump and are designed with chromolithigrapic images of everyday French life,war,love,childeren,farmer,fishing and painting. Made by (author) B.P Grimaud, 54 Rue de Lancry,Paris,France,1898. Condition; The playing cards are in very good,used condition, the grimaud card box is in good used condition,some wear all wear is age&use related,see photos for overall condition.
