Bye Bike Special Velocino.
Very rare to see a real Bye Bike Velocino.
The Velocino first appeared in Italy in 1933. It was a convenient portable alternative to take with you anywhere.
A patent was requested, but production never started due to the outbreak of the war.
Only a few from that time still exist.
But they’re from around 1960. The design was later bought by Raleigh. They designed the Bye Bike in Spain in the late 70s.
They were mainly intended for the American market. They can still be found there is some museums. They’re very popular there among collectors.
The Velocino is still being sold by some brands. Unfortunately, the new design is different and no longer like the original.
Please see link below for more information about the Bye Boy, its little brother.

This Bye Bike has been checked. Fully disassembled. Cleaned, all the bearings were cleaned and greased, etc, the lighting also works as it should.
The bike is in original condition.
It is still the necessary patina.
Size rear wheel 24"
Size front wheel 12"
The handlebar can be turned around.
The seating position is then a bit more like on a normal bike.
See last photos.
A single drawback: The handlebar was welded in the past.
Location: Ekeren, Belgium.
